Dr. Matt Barnes, co-owner of Rehab Group, brings over 30 years of physical therapy and rehabilitation experience to the team. A Morristown West High School and Carson-Newman University graduate, he earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Neumann University. Additionally, Matt is a board-certified clinical specialist in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy.
Matt’s career has focused on helping patients recover from injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions while restoring their daily function and mobility. He also has experience in sports medicine, having worked with Carson-Newman University, the Toronto Blue Jays, and the New York Yankees.
A proud local, Matt is passionate about giving back to the community that shaped him. He founded the sports medicine program at Morristown East High School and continues to help athletes of all levels stay healthy and strong, while prioritizing the recovery and care of every patient in the clinic.

Chris Cole, co-owner of Rehab Group, has been helping patients in the Lakeway area get back to their lives for over 30 years. A Morristown East High School and Carson-Newman University graduate, Chris specializes in physical therapy for injuries, post-surgery recovery, and restoring everyday function.
While he has sports medicine experience, most of his day is spent working with patients of all ages to move better, feel stronger, and live without pain. Born and raised in Morristown, Chris is committed to giving back to the community and making sure every patient at Rehab Group gets the care and attention they deserve.

Brandon Trent, a Morristown West High School graduate, is one of the newest members of the Rehab Group provider team. He earned his doctorate in physical therapy from Tennessee State University after completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville.
Brandon brings experience in geriatrics, surgical post-operative care, and student athletic training. He is also certified in dry needling and is passionate about helping patients regain function, strength, and independence.
Outside the clinic, Brandon enjoys working out and spending time with friends and family.

Ashley Dewey has been part of the Rehab Group team since 2011, bringing over a decade of physical therapy experience to our Morristown clinic. A proud Morristown East High graduate, she earned her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from ETSU and her Physical Therapist Assistant degree from South College.
Ashley enjoys working with patients of all ages to help them recover, regain strength, and return to their everyday lives. She has a special interest in sports medicine and ACL rehabilitation. Although she has a special interest in ACL rehab, her main focus is to help people move better and feel more confident. Whether that means getting back to the field, tackling their workday without pain, or staying active, she is fully focused on patient needs.
She is certified in instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization, cupping, and kinesiology taping. Ashley is proud to serve the community she grew up in and enjoys spending her free time with her dogs or planning her next beach getaway. She primarily sees patients in the Morristown office.

Ashton Wykle, a Greene County native, earned her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Carson-Newman University, where she also played basketball for the Lady Eagles. She went on to complete her Physical Therapist Assistant degree at South College.
Ashton’s interests include: joint replacement rehabilitation, sports medicine, and helping patients rebuild balance and strength. Her own experience recovering from sports-related injuries gives her a unique perspective and deep understanding of the rehab process. She uses the experience to guide her patients with both skill and empathy.
She is certified in Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization and primarily treats patients at the Morristown office. Outside the clinic, Ashton enjoys spending time outdoors and with her dog.

Libby Denton is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant and a graduate of Jefferson County High School. She earned her associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from Walters State Community College.
Libby enjoys working with a wide range of patients, from post-surgical rehab to everyday aches and pains. She focuses on helping people regain mobility and get back to the activities they enjoy. She treats patients in both the Morristown and Dandridge clinics.
Outside of the clinic, she enjoys playing pickleball and spending time with family and friends.
