Sports Medicine and Community Support
At Rehab Group, we are proud to support local schools through our sports medicine programs. Our certified athletic trainers work directly with students at every level from middle school to college, helping prevent injuries, provide immediate care, and guide safe return-to-play. We are committed to keeping community athletes healthy, strong, and ready to perform while encouraging their growth both on the field and in the classroom.
Tim Utt, ATC has been part of Rehab Group for over two decades and serves as the Certified Athletic Trainer for Morristown East High School. He also provides care for East Ridge Middle, Meadowview Middle, and Walters State Community College. Tim focuses on injury prevention, immediate care, and safe return-to-play for athletes across the community.
A Jefferson County native, Tim earned his bachelor’s degree in Physical Education with a concentration in Athletic Training from Tusculum and a master’s degree in Exercise Physiology from Morehead State. He has been licensed by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association since 2000.
When he’s not on the sidelines, Tim is in the classroom at Morristown East, teaching health sciences and preparing students for future healthcare careers. To see Tim on the sidelines with East High Athletics, click here.
Jeremy Emmons, ATC has been part of Rehab Group since 2011 and serves as the Certified Athletic Trainer for Morristown West High School. He also provides care for Lincoln Heights and West View Middle Schools and supports local athletes through Walters State Community College. Jeremy focuses on injury prevention, immediate care, and helping athletes recover safely so they can return to the activities they love.
Originally from Lyons, Kansas, Jeremy earned his bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from Sterling College and his master’s degree in Education, Physical Education, and Exercise Science from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Before joining Rehab Group, he gained valuable sports medicine experience with Maryville College and Carson-Newman University.
When he’s not on the sidelines, Jeremy is teaching health sciences at Morristown West, helping students build a strong foundation in healthcare. To see Jeremy in action with West High Athletics, click here.
Through a shared partnership with Walters State Community College, we help support athletic training services for their student athletes, ensuring they have access to the care they need during their sports seasons. To see more about WSCC Athletics, click here.
Beyond sports, we love giving back to the Lakeway area with our holiday helper, Rocky the Elf. Each Christmas, Rocky helps us spread cheer, health, and holiday spirit to families, showing that our support goes beyond the clinic and the field.
